Australian Powerball Lotto draws take place once a week on a Thursday at 8:30pm (AEDT) and when the jackpot available to win surpasses the AUD$ 15 million mark then the draws are broadcast on television. In the draws for this lottery game two different ball machines are used, much like the other Powerball lotteries that are available to play in the world. The first machine has balls in ranging from 1 – 45 and the second machine also has the same. Five main numbers are drawn from the first machine, and then one ball, which is known as the Powerball, is drawn from the other machine.
